Submission

Scientific papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in the areas listed in the general Call for Papers, and to consult the IFAC guidelines where word and Latex templates can be found.
Authors are invited to submit papers through the papercept platform which is now open for submissions.
The number of pages and the file size must satisfy the conference requirements: 6 pages, 2 MB.
Papers must be submitted before the deadline of May 31st 2022.

Discussion papers

We invite authors to consider submitting discussion papers. By IFAC rules Discussion contributions are submitted with the goal of being only presented at the conference, in order to get feedback and generate discussion with participants, without generating a publication (that means, they are not going to published at IFAC-PapersOnLine).
For a fast reviewing process, a document with 1 to 4 pages must be submitted, which gives a short overview of the concepts/ideas to be presented and indicates why the proposed topics are interesting to be discussed at the conference.
If accepted, authors can decide whether they want either the document with 1 to 4 pages or only an abstract to appear in the conference preprints, in order to make participants aware of the topics to be discussed. These documents will not be included in the official conference proceedings published in IFAC-PapersOnLine.

Discussion papers must be submitted through the conference submission website no later than July 15th 2022.

Workshop and tutorials

We cordially invite the research community to submit proposals for hosting interactive Workshops and Tutorials at SYROCO 2021. Organizers are welcome to submit proposals for either a full-day or half-day Workshop / Tutorial. Tutorials and workshops will be held on the last day of the conference on October 20th, 2022.

Workshops should focus on presenting results and promoting discussion about specific sub-topics or a well-defined active research area of interest for the intelligent autonomous systems community. We especially encourage workshop proposals with content or presentation formats that are not found within the main conference. The main purpose of the tutorials is to provide overviews of the state of the art in the particular subfields of intelligent autonomous systems. Proposals for tutorials may cover the areas listed in the general Call for Papers, as well as other areas applicable to intelligent autonomous systems.

Please submit your workshop or tutorial proposal as a PDF file by sending an e-mail no later than May 31st 2022 (details are provided in the template). Notification of acceptance will be given by May 30th 2022.

The Workshops and Tutorials Committee will evaluate proposals based on all information provided in the proposal and will make decisions based on (i) the topic of the proposed event, (ii) the event’s format and likelihood of creating an engaging intellectual environment, and (iii) the inclusiveness of the event to people with different backgrounds and expertise.

We especially encourage proposals on emerging topics in intelligent autonomous systems, including new problems and new domains.

Template for proposals can be downloaded here.
